Even though she was born in South Africa, her family moved to New Zealand when she was 1 year old. They lived in Auckland for 10 years, before moving to Gold Coast, Australia. She officially became an Australian citizen in 2013.

Blessed with a tall figure and pretty face, she started off as a model since she was only 15 years old. She won the Gold Coast High School Model Search Competition. She also came in third in Miss Teen Australia 2010. In 2017, she participated in Miss Universe Australia.

She then moved to America to pursue her dream as an internationally acclaimed model. She is now based in Miami and Los Angeles.

Steph takes good care of her body, not only because of her work, but also because she loves to sweat. Aside from hitting the gym, she is very well known as a yoga enthusiast. She even works together with the yoga equipment brand, Alo Yoga.
